Bullets Top Dirty Reds, 3-0, Behind Daniel
|
The Baltimore Bullets picked up a win at Baltimore Grounds, knocking off the Dayton Dirty Reds, 3-0. Starting pitcher Eddie Daniel played a key role in the triumph. Dayton has now lost 4 consecutive games.
Daniel, who dominated for Baltimore, earned the victory to move to 4-4. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 2. Dayton batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Daniel.
