Coeur Pick Up 4-0 Win Over Kingston Township
|
St. Louis left-hander Stanley Osborne pitched his team to victory over the Kingston Township Knights at Cloverdale Legion Park. The final score was 4-0. The Coeur have an impressive 29-14 record.
St. Louis relied on the hitting of Eisse van Opdorp to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Coeur on top, 2-0. For the game, van Opdorp had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," van Opdorp said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
