Randolph Dominant in Lighthouse Victory
|
Howard Randolph was outstanding against Hollywood. The right-hander, who led the SL in ERA with 1.73 in 2050, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Lighthouse 4-0 win. Christopher Tracy earned the save for Long Island, his 2nd. Hollywood is in the throes of a 11-game losing streak.
Randolph made it look easy. He scattered 3 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 12 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 2-0.
"We're in a funk right now," said Hollywood skipper Bill Cheese.
