The Toledo Stingers extended their winning streak.

The Toledo Stingers defeated the Dayton Dirty Reds, 7-4, at Pacesetter Park. Toledo catcher Ernesto Reyes had a superb performance. He belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Archie MacMurchy picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 8. On the season, he is now 2-2.

Toledo took a 5-2 lead on Heikki Lahtela's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Lahtela hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Dayton pitcher André Noël visibly frustrated.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Toledo manager TJ Reynolds.
