Though he had a great game, Steve Miller could not single-handedly produce a win for Kingston Township. St. Louis won the game, 3-2. Miller was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. The win takes St. Louis to 13-8.
Oliver Ortega, who is tied for 3rd in the SL in triples with 2, helped out the St. Louis cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Ortega told the St. Louis Times.
