Dirty Reds Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start
|
The Dayton Dirty Reds topped the Baltimore Bullets, 4-1, in United States Silver League action at Lang Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Dayton pitcher Hahn Hartwig. Peter O'Farrell earned the save, his 3rd, for the Dirty Reds. The win puts Dayton at 7-12.
Matsusuke Saikawa took Kevin Brown deep in the bottom of the first. His 2-run home run put the Dirty Reds on top, 2-0. In all, Saikawa had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Saikawa.
