In the 9-2 Baltimore win over Long Island, the impact of Alexander Karshev was substantial. Karshev, who finished 2nd in the SL in RBI with 70 in 2050, was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Baltimore pitcher Kevin Brown got the win. He's now 3-0. Bernardo Rivera was tagged with the loss. Gene Greene earned the save for Baltimore, his 2nd of the year.

With two out in the bottom of the first, Roberto Alcoholado barreled up a changeup from Bernardo Rivera. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Bullets in front, 3-0.
