The Oakland Oaks did just enough to sneak past the Kingston Township Knights, 5-4, at The Oak Grove. Oakland pitcher Jason Kofod, in particular, had a standout performance. Amin Yahouse, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. Terry Lesage earned the save, his 4th.

Lorenzo García was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Oakland. The 29-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Hong-bin Hark. It was his 5th RBI of the season.

"Jason was able to execute his pitches," said Oakland manager DAshley GoAs. "Simple as that."

The Oaks, with just their 5th win so far in 2054, have yet to catch fire.
