Hartwig Brilliant as Dirty Reds Top Oaks, 2-0
|
The Dayton Dirty Reds got a stellar performance from pitcher Hahn Hartwig, who handcuffed the Oakland offense en route to a win, 2-0, at The Oak Grove. With the win, Dayton lifts its record to 3-6.
Hartwig, who leaned on his changeup, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 6.1 innings for the Dirty Reds. For the most part, Oakland hitters were simply overmatched.
"We did just enough to win," Hartwig said.
