Jiménez Hurls No-Hitter Against Elite Sunday, August 25th , 2052 In a dominant outing, Carlos Jiménez of the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves totally silenced the bats of the MSL Detroit Elite, finishing with a no-hitter. In the Grey Wolves' 9-0 victory, Jiménez faced only 28 batters, surrendered no hits, had 5 strikeouts and 2 walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," MSL Vancouver manager Justin Justice said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Robert Dickinson told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "simple" analysis of the game. "The Grey Wolves had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped. "But yeah, Jiménez pitched a heck of a ballgame."
