MSL St. Louis No Match for Walls Friday, July 4th , 2053 In an outstanding mound performance, MSL Buckhead Bowties starter Robert Walls fired a complete-game shutout against the MSL St. Louis Coeur at MLB Buckhead Ballpark today. Walls was the key to the Bowties's 4-0 win. The 18-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 1 hit and 1 walk he allowed. "1 hit?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." To date this season Walls sports a 2-4 mark with a 2.93 ERA in 9 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .236 batting average and has 63 strikeouts in 58.1 innings.
