Carter Gets June's Top Pitcher Trophy Tuesday, July 1st , 2053 The #1 pitcher this past month in the M3L Mexican Summer League was Derek Carter of the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids. He worked the hitters over real good, finishing June with a superb 3-0 record and a 0.30 ERA. The Rainbow Mermaids star made 4 starts and surrendered 7 hits in 30 innings.
