3MSL Awards Best Batter Prize to Johnson Monday, July 8th , 2052 It was a fantastic week for MSL Detroit right fielder Rod Johnson and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the M3L Mexican Summer League Player of the Week Award. Last week Johnson hammered the ball at a torrid .643 pace, going 9-for-14 with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. In his season totals Johnson has 6 home runs and a .346 batting average. |
