Pérez Pitches Gem as Bowties Beat MSL Las Vegas, 7-0 Thursday, June 26th , 2053 Magic was in the air and on the mound at MLB Buckhead Ballpark today as Júlio Pérez held the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos spellbound in his 7-0 shutout victory. The MSL Buckhead Bowties pitcher went the distance, rang up 9 strikeouts, walked 1 and held the Flamingos to 3 hits to garner the win. "He just had us in his thrall," MSL Las Vegas manager David Buchanan said later. "We couldn't put anything together against him." So far this year Pérez has a 4-2 record with a 3.78 ERA.
