Rehab Road Tough for Kingfishers Brian Folger Thursday, August 28th , 2053 The Pittsburgh Kingfishers announced today that Brian Folger would be missing for longer than expected as the 25-year-old starting pitcher recovers from a stiff back. "Brian had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Kingfishers GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Folger would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is 5 days more recovery time." On the year Folger has worked 97.1 innings with 62 strikeouts en route to a 7-4 record and 4.53 ERA. |
