Buffalo Win to Pull Even With Panama City
The Buffalo White Walkers and the Panama City Piranhas will take the Tournament of Champions to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the White Walkers beat the Piranhas 5-3 at The Tank to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Buffalo left-hander Qu-bing Li had a big role in the win. He threw 6.2 innings allowing 1 runs.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Mitsuoki Kogawa to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the White Walkers on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Li said.

Game 7 is scheduled for Thursday at Beyond the Wall in Buffalo.
