Boston and New Orleans duked it out and the Patriots came out victorious.

Iiri Lahti was superb against New Orleans. The right-hander, who led the PL in strikeouts with 186 last year, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Patriots victory. The score was 5-4. Boston has now won 3 in a row.

Making an impact for the home team was Fred Koch. In the bottom of the fifth, the former first round draft pick had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 5-0, Patriots.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Koch said.
