Flamingos Walk It Off for 27th Win of Season
|
The MSL D.C. Divided got a superb performance from pitcher Frédéric Desbois, but the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos still won the game, 5-4. Desbois threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball. MSL Las Vegas is now 27-19, while MSL D.C. is 25-21.
Amador Licopit was the walk-off hero for MSL Las Vegas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Flamingos shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Licopit said.
