MSL Charleston and MSL Thunder Bay duked it out and the Battery came out victorious.

The 4-3 MSL Charleston win over MSL Thunder Bay was due in large part to Augusto Torres. The Battery third baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. MSL Charleston has now won 6 games in a row.

Torres contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for MSL Charleston in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Torres took a changeup from Hwen-thiang Sun and stroked the home run to right. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Battery to leap in front, 4-3.

"I like the roll we're on," said MSL Charleston manager Eric Craft.
