Dave Sandoval never let the Knights get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his curveball, to pitch the Leviathan to a win, 2-1. MSL Nova Scotia now sits in second place in the 3L MSL at 13-9.
MSL Nova Scotia won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With one out and Quan Gai on the mound for MSL Kingston Township, left fielder Don Thomas hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Leviathan fans to their feet.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said MSL Kingston Township manager Dan Taylor.
