Pandas Score Late to Upend Kingfishers, 3-2
The Pittsburgh Kingfishers and Montana Pandas provided some drama for the home crowd.

Craig Culver could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Pittsburgh Kingfishers lost, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Montana Pandas at Panda Park. Todd Jackson snagged the win in relief. In 2.2 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits. He's now 1-0 on the season. Hugh Mann locked down his 1st save.

Sayed Walid chipped in for Montana, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the shortstop went 2 for 3 with 2 singles.

"Every loss hurts," said Pittsburgh manager Tyler Johnson. "But this was a tough one."

The win gives Montana a record of 9-6.
