White Walkers Rally to Eke Out Win
|
Buffalo beat Panama City on the strength of starter Qu-bing Li's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 2-1. Jim Hunter recorded his 2nd save for Buffalo. Buffalo is now 60-40, 3½ games up in the Premier League.
Buffalo needed the clutch hitting of Eduardo Lucciardi to notch the win. The catcher hammered a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the White Walkers on top, 2-1. For the game, Lucciardi had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Lucciardi.
