Iiri Lahti was superb against Buffalo. The right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the PL in wins with 9, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Patriots victory. The score was 6-0. The win makes Boston 39-41.

Lahti, a native of Kunhegyes, Hungary, was dealing all game. He kept Buffalo hitters off-balance, while giving the Patriots 6.1 quality innings. Lahti threw 88 pitches, allowing 1 hit and striking out 11.
