The New Orleans Voodoo stopped the Boston Patriots, 8-4, behind an impressive performance from Trent Brown. The 28-year old left fielder made life miserable for Boston pitching. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. New Orleans reliever Amin Yahouse picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Iiri Lahti was saddled with the loss. The Voodoo, at 37-35, sit in 5th place in the Premier League.

In the top of the first of a scoreless game, Brown hit a 2-run home run to put his team ahead.

"There's a lot of fight left in this team," said Brown.
