Montana Gets 5-1 Win
|
Montana picked up a win at Dunkin Donuts Park, bumping off the Boston Patriots, 5-1. Pitcher Nick Joseph was a major reason the Pandas emerged victorious. Horace Cope locked down his 3rd save. The triumph puts Montana at 34-33 for the season.
Ron Pollard, the top prospect , had a direct impact on the outcome. Pollard contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Montana up, 3-1.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Joseph.
