Kingfishers Lose, 2-1, at Dunkin Donuts Park
Pittsburgh wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Craig Culver, falling to the Boston Patriots, 2-1. Culver threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. Byron Cramphorn notched his 2nd save in 2 chances. The Patriots saw their win-loss record go to 31-32. At the same time, the Kingfishers fell to 33-30.

The Patriots got a lift from third baseman Cho-yun Yip, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a run-scoring double. His 10th double of the season put the Patriots on top, 2-0.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Yip. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
