Piranhas Beat Dirty Reds, 2-0
|
San Mateo wasted a solid 7-inning effort from starting pitcher Sylvain Richard, losing to Panama City, 2-0, at Lang Park. With the victory, the Piranhas upped their record to 35-28.
Early in the game, second baseman Anthony Hollis had a solo home run for Panama City. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Piranhas on top, 1-0.
"Runs were at a premium," said Panama City manager Brian Talamante.
