Curry Helps White Walkers Beat Kingfishers, 6-4
|
Mark Curry was a major contributor to the 6-4 Buffalo win over Pittsburgh. The White Walkers left fielder went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Buffalo goes to 37-22. The win puts them 5 games up in their division.
Curry had a timely hit for Buffalo in the top of the ninth. With Pittsburgh trailing 4-2, he turned a 1-0 fastball into a grand slam home run. It was his 10th home run of the season, making it 6-4, Buffalo.
"No time for posing," said Curry. "The next game will be here before you know it."
