Mockingbirds Stumble, Lose to Dirty Reds
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

San Mateo designated hitter Matsusuke Saikawa helped his team beat the Mississippi Mockingbirds, 8-4. Saikawa, who finished 3rd in the PL in home runs with 25 in 2051, went 3 for 4 for the Dirty Reds. Their 23-31 record puts the Dirty Reds 9th in the Premier League.

Marcos Janero, the 30-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Janero contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the second inning to put San Mateo up, 2-0.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Saikawa said. "We did a good job of that today."
