Mississippi Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
In a low-scoring tilt between the Mississippi Mockingbirds and the San Mateo Dirty Reds, Ronald Fritz was the difference-maker. The Mississippi right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Mississippi reliever Eric Blevins picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Chris Plautz took the loss. The Mockingbirds, now 21-31, have won 4 in a row.

The Mockingbirds procured the win, in large part because of center fielder Ai-de Lau. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"This game tested our mettle," said Lau.
