Extra-Inning Win by Pandas Over Patriots
The Montana Pandas had to overcome a fine effort from Boston pitcher Iiri Lahti to grab a narrow 3-2 win at Panda Park. Lahti went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Montana reliever Alan Jackson was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Martin Luther. Montana has now won 4 games in a row.

The Pandas relied on first baseman Michizane Yamashita for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Yamashita.
