The Pittsburgh Kingfishers got a good effort from starter Craig Culver in defeating the Montana Pandas at Pittsburgh Grounds. The final score was 5-0. The winning pitcher was Culver, now 2-4. Seung-jae Kyong had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Pittsburgh. He came through with a run-scoring double to put Pittsburgh in front, 2-0.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Andrew Schupick.

The win makes Pittsburgh 13-15.
