The Montana Pandas and San Mateo Dirty Reds played an exciting game.

Montana Pandas starter Alonso Álvarez pitched a strong game against the San Mateo Dirty Reds at Panda Park, leading the Pandas to victory, 3-2. The second-place Pandas are now 16-11, the Dirty Reds 11-16.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Lung Chaim came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing San Mateo pitcher Nick Joseph, he hit a 1-1 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Montana on top, 3-2.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Chaim told the Montana Bulletin.
