Yoshihito Takeuchi put up a remarkable month at the age of 17 and has been named the M3L Mexican Summer League Batter of the Month. For the month, Takeuchi hit .450 with 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and 7 runs scored. During the current season Takeuchi is batting at a .307 clip with 8 home runs and 30 RBIs.
