Fernández of Virginia Beach PAA Batter of the Month Sunday, October 1st , 2051 At only 25 years of age, Jesús Fernández could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Virginia Beach Whales, as September was one to remember for the third baseman and he has captured the USPL Double A Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .417 with 7 home runs, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored. In his 195-game career Fernández is hitting .244 with 172 hits, 29 doubles, 2 triples and 45 home runs. He has scored 115 runs and driven in 121. |
