Ibáñez Blasts 3 out of the Park Friday, September 22nd , 2051 The Crescent City Krewe won't soon forget the display of raw power put on today by Gustavo Ibáñez of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles. He victimized the Krewe by pounding three pitches out of Mercer Island Grounds to spark his club to the 13-3 win. "I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Ibáñez told reporters. "Today I was in a groove. Tomorrow, I could just pop up the same pitches and go 0-for-3." In addition to the homers, he collected 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Gustavo Ibáñez hit a three-run home run off Tyson Robertson in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Bill Draper in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Gerald Simmons in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
