Willis Cops PAA Batter of the Month Honors Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 Jim Willis may be much younger than other hitters in the USPL Double A, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old Virginia Beach center fielder hit .404 with 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and 24 runs scored. For the season Willis has produced 82 hits in 275 at-bats for a .298 average with 14 home runs and gotten on base at a .364 clip. |
