Virginia Beach-Mercer Island Fight Results in Suspensions Thursday, July 27th , 2051 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Virginia Beach-Mercer Island contest at Virginia Beach Grounds. The Whales Arturo Collazo and the Screaming Eagles Dave Pickett will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Collazo is batting at a .234 clip with 6 home runs and 25 RBIs. |
