Leviathan Bridle Bullets, 3-1
|
Nova Scotia got a first-rate effort from pitcher Andrew Johnson, who frustrated Baltimore hitters en route to a 3-1 Leviathan triumph at The Dungeon in Halifax. Picking up the save was Nicolaas Eland. He's now 11 for 13 in save chances. Nova Scotia is 8th in the Silver League with a record of 36-48.
Juan Barrón had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the second for Nova Scotia. With the bases loaded and the Leviathan leading 1-0, he hit a 2-run single.
Barrón said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
