|
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Nova Scotia Leviathan and the Baltimore Bullets. Nova Scotia won it, 3-1. Nova Scotia starter Ben Frazier was in command. At 29-39, the Leviathan find themselves in 8th place in the Silver League.
The Leviathan had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 3-1, Nova Scotia, with no one out. Baltimore, with the bases empty, was mounting a threat. Charlie Moore dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 sinker, he struck out.
