Knights Take Nail-Biter Over Northern Lions BC
|
The MSL Kingston Township Knights beat the MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 7-5, at MSL Kingston Township Ballpark. Jorge Ramírez, in particular, was impressive. He was 6 for 7 with a home run, a double, and 4 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The win makes MSL Kingston Township 23-21.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 13th. With one out, Ramírez hit a fastball from Francisco Soto for a 2-run home run. The Knights, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"Our team showed some spunk," said Ramírez.
