A 3-RBI performance from shortstop Gerardo Sotelo, who is tied for 7th in the PAA in doubles with 11, led the Olympia Ogres to a win over the Virginia Beach Whales, 6-3. Dan Roberts picked up the save, his 2nd. The Ogres now have a record of 13-31.

Olympia took a 5-1 lead on Sotelo's 11th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which he hit off Kevin Ashe in the top of the sixth, propelled Olympia to the win.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Sotelo told a Olympia Chronicle reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
