Field of the Krewe was the site for USPL Double A action featuring the Crescent City Krewe and Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks.

The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks downed the Crescent City Krewe, 9-1, at Field of the Krewe. Jason Melton led the way, going 3-for-5 for Ft. Polk South. Ft. Polk South pitcher Teddy Barnes got the win. He's now 6-0. Wyatt Butler was tagged with the loss.

William Bray hit a run-scoring triple off Wyatt Butler in the top of the first, which put the Thunder Hawks in front, 1-0. Bray had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Melton.

Losses have been rare for the Krewe, who are now 14-5.
