Flamingos Lose to Bullets, 3-2

The Baltimore Bullets eked out a 3-2 win versus the Las Vegas Flamingos at The Strip. Nobody did more than pitcher Jorge Souza. He was terrific. Sidd Finch got the save, his 3rd in 4 chances. Baltimore is now 57-37. Las Vegas is 48-46.
Juan Andrés Martí dealt the Flamingos a blow in the top of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 3rd and Baltimore leading 2-1, Martí, who finished 3rd in the SL in wins above replacement with 4.9 last year, hit a 2-1 knuckleball for a run-scoring single.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Las Vegas manager Tom Williams. "The effort was great."
