Friday, October 7th , 2050
He may have less experience than most of his M3L Double A peers, but that didn't slow Tomás Ventura down at all in 2050.
At the age of 23, the Casper first baseman has been named the winner of the M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award.
He had a .277 batting average and a .357 on-base percentage this year. In 101 games he piled up 106 hits, 20 doubles, 3 triples, 28 home runs, 95 RBIs and 56 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 12. Andrew Smith of the Marquette Miners finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Alan Coxall of the Westwood Sixshooters finished third with 2 first place votes.
