Rivera Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games

Northville right fielder Sergio Rivera keeps on racking up hits every time he plays.
His hitting streak now stands at 25 games after collecting 2 hits at Old-Timers Park today. The Eclipse took the 3-2 victory over the Yakima Hops.
"I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Rivera said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Sergio Rivera singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
So far this season Rivera has 3 home runs and a .272 batting average.
