3AA's Best Batter Selected Friday, July 1st , 2050 For a rookie just breaking in, Reynaldo Velásquez certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the 3AA Batter of the Month award for June. The 24-year-old right fielder for the Yakima Hops hit .326 with 7 home runs, 27 RBIs and 14 runs scored. This year Velásquez has collected a .269 batting average to date with 47 hits in 175 at-bats, 41 RBIs, 9 home runs and scored 28 times. He has played in 46 games. |
