Hops Velásquez Named 3AA's #1 Player Monday, June 27th , 2050 Reynaldo Velásquez punched, poked and pummeled the baseball last week and today he garnered a majority of the votes for the M3L Double A Player of the Week award. The Yakima Hops right fielder slashed out a .385 average with 10 hits in 26 at-bats, 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. Hitting .267 to date, Velásquez has 9 home runs and 40 RBIs. He has played in 45 games. |
