3A Names Top Player of the Week Monday, August 8th , 2050 The premier performer in the M3L Single A this week was Hicham Picot of the Mancelona Torch. The hot-hitting 22-year-old center fielder put up a .500 average and .556 on-base percentage, piling up 8 hits in 16 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the 3A Player of the Week honors. This year Picot is hitting .333 with 14 home runs and 36 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .390 clip and scored 31 runs. |
