Godfathers Lose Again, 3-1, to Expos
|
The Niagara Falls Expos racked up a win at Pontiac Copperdome, bumping off the Pontiac Godfathers, 3-1. San-gui Tow, who started for Niagara Falls, pitched effectively for his team. In 6 innings, Tow surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Edward Brown sewed up the save, his 1st.
Early in the game, left fielder Andreas Boerboom had a solo home run for Niagara Falls. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Expos on top, 1-0.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Tow.
